Volunteer with Us
Grace Threads Foundation is powered entirely by the heart and hands of our local community in the Greater Toronto area.
We do not accept financial donations—instead, we thrive through the generous time and talents of volunteers. If you're interested in joining us in one of our many meaningful roles, we'd love to hear from you!
We gratefully welcome bulk donations of new or gently used clothing and home goods from retailers, productions, and other organizations. Your surplus can help meet real needs in our community. We’re happy to arrange pick-up for qualifying donations—please reach out to us directly to get started.
No Team? No Problem. We handle everything from labour to impact.
Partner with Us
Grace Threads Foundation relies on the generosity of our community through in-kind contributions and volunteer support. We are always collecting contact information from individuals interested in volunteering—whether it’s behind the scenes or assisting at our seasonal clothing banks.
We gladly accept donations of new and gently used clothing, footwear, and household items. Items can be dropped off at arranged designated locations, and for larger volume donations, pick-up and aid can be arranged. Your contributions directly support families in need across the GTA and help us continue to deliver meaningful, hands-on care.

Fueled - Not Funded.
Powered by the Community
At Grace Threads Foundation, we believe donations shouldn’t just be dropped off—they should be delivered with care, purpose, and the human effort it takes to make a real difference. That’s why we go above and beyond to extend our volunteer force into every step of the donation process. From heavy lifting and sorting to transport and hands-on distribution, our volunteers are the driving force behind the success of every clothing cycle.
Many of the donations we receive arrive in bulk, sometimes unsorted, and often straight from studio backlots, retailers, or warehouses. Rather than letting these contributions sit idle or go to waste, we mobilize our community—people who show up, roll up their sleeves, and turn piles of surplus into accessible, dignified offerings for those in need. Volunteers help us prep items for specific events, match goods to the right outreach effort, and even assist recipient organizations with final-mile delivery and setup.
We know that generosity isn’t just about what’s given—it’s about how it’s carried through. By investing our time, sweat, and coordination into the donation process itself, we ensure that every item doesn’t just reach someone, but reaches them in a way that feels intentional, respectful, and needed.

At Grace Threads Foundation, our work is powered entirely by volunteers—and there’s a role for everyone. From donation organizers who help sort and prepare clothing for community distribution, to pickup labourers who assist in loading and unloading large donations, to drivers who transport goods from studios, retailers, and homes across the city—every hand helps stretch our reach. We also rely on volunteers for behind-the-scenes logistics, event setup, and seasonal clothing bank support. Whether you prefer lifting boxes or making spreadsheets, your time and energy can directly help bring dignity and warmth to those in need.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our operation, turning surplus into service with every hour we give.
“Volunteering with Grace Threads over the past few years has completely changed how I see abundance. In a world where so many of us have more than we need—it’s humbling to realize how much impact those things can have. I’ve seen a single warm coat bring someone to tears. To me, real abundance is having enough to share—and choosing to share it.”
